A design tour de force, the Bausele Terra Australis combines precision Swiss engineering, Australian inspired styling with a proprietary material innovatively designed in collaboration with a leading University. This elegantly masculine watch is the jewel in the crown of the Bausele range. An innovative signature five-pronged diamond clasp holding the watch face securely in place, sets this watch apart in construction and look.
The distinctive watch case construction features Bauselite, a material exclusively created and manufactured for Bausele in collaboration with engineering partners at Flinders University Centre for NanoScale Science & Technology. This innovative new material is similar to ceramic as it enables accurate modelling but it limits shrinkage compared to common ceramics. This process of modelling is environmentally friendly due to its innovative design which yields little wastage.
“Bausele’s approach to innovative designs and materials represents the perfect opportunity for us to utilise our research and capabilities into a unique commercial application” - Professor David Lewis, Director, Flinders Nanoscale Science and Technology.
Exuding strength and presence, at 46mm in diameter and with the crown in the 12 o’clock position, the Terra Australis will certainly make a statement. Tough, steady and distinguished, it features the Swiss-made Soprod a10 automatic movement and is complimented by the Australian-sourced and built design innovations, as well as the high-quality silicone and leather strap that will retain its shape and form to complement this special watch.
Currently available in four striking colour combinations including the signature rose-gold and black, Terra Australis, Rose (shown). Each watch carries red earth from the center of Australia in its crown.
